For an end of year special edition of the Online Hot Politics Lab Meetings, lab directors Gijs Schumacher and Bert Bakker sat down together and had a look back at the the past year. From December 14 – 18, Bert is the Paul Lazarsfeld Professor at the Faculty of Social Science of University of Vienna. The professorship is awarded to outstanding scholars with an innovative profile in the areas of theory and methodology in the social sciences.
Bert will teach a graduate course on Transparency in the Social Science for PhD students, give a talk at the department of communication science and meet with faculty and students. Obviously all will be done online due to the corona crisis.
The Hot Politics Lab is recruiting a postdoc to complement our current team, focusing on studying emotions in politics.
