Overview
For three days, the Hot Politics Lab measured physiological responses to political propaganda at the largest music festival in the Netherlands: Lowlands. The lab was situated in the Lowlands Science area, a small village where several research groups conducted research. In our experiment, we exposed people to brief videos that advertised a specific position on themes such as immigration, inequality, the environment, and the political establishment. During the experiment, we measured heartbeat, skin conductance, and facial electromyography.
